Oshibana

Updated: Oct 23, 2018

The origin of this art has been traced to 16th century in Japan, Samurai warriors have created Oshibana as one of their disciplines to promote patience, harmony with nature and power of concentration.

Painting with elements of nature is a therapy for the soul. This art involves an attention to nature during the entire year, attention and knowledge of the plants and preserving them. A certain piece of painting is planned months earlier before being placed into frames.

Oshibana is a tribute to the beauty of the nature.

The flower caught in her immortality turns and become part of a story that never ends becomes a piece of a character, a dream, an imagination. The idea of each painting is a free expression of a life, a thought of light, sometimes a desire to convey joy. The artist merges into his opera and becomes part of it with devotion and love for nature.

This painting of nature is bestowed upon the viewer, with all the energy that has inside, each leaf, each petal or seed finds its perfect place in composition with precise accuracy and thus becomes a work of love and meaning for the one who receives it and appreciates it.
